We are Kadenza, with nearly 100 employees and more than 100 clients, we are the largest business intelligence specialist in the Benelux. Founded in 2004 by Erik and Jeroen. Our consultants work with many large organisations from an amazing home base in Laren.

Professionals

We (Erik Leene and Jeroen Blankendaal) started Kadenza in 2004 and still head the company to this very day. We have grown into a highly professional organisation where the best consultants work on the most innovative projects daily, based on our drive to bring the best people together and to constantly innovate. Professionals who know how to tackle complex information issues. Professionals with a long-term vision and a hands-on mentality. Professionals who give advice, whether asked for or not, and are able to constantly stimulate and surprise you with new insights.

We work closely with these clients and share knowledge in order to achieve the very best results. Our management team constantly evaluates how we can adapt ourselves, as a business, to enabling us to harvest tomorrow’s opportunities, but we have always stayed the same in terms of culture, identity and working method. We deem long-term goals more important than short-term results. We don’t embark on one-off relationships, but make unequivocal choices regarding the people and organisations that we do business with. Moreover, we invest heavily in innovation and training, so that our consultants, as well as our clients’ employees, can continue to grow. After all, only then can we live up to our promises.

Erik Leene:

‘I studied mechanical engineering, but before long I became fascinated with the field of expertise that is now known as Business Intelligence. Why? Simply because I love being able to give people insights, to enable people and organisations to perform better. Especially: to be able to make complex matters practical and pragmatic. Working closely with the driven individuals at Kadenza gives me a tremendous amount of satisfaction. I am a creative spirit. I utilise this aspect in my private life too, and continuously search for useful solutions with new technologies.’

Jeroen Blankendaal:

‘I started out as a financial business consultant, following my studies in this field at the Amsterdam Academy for Banking and Finance (Amsterdamse Academie voor Bank en Financiën). I consider my own company, Kadenza, a lovely business. I am extremely proud that Kadenza has grown into a front-runner; an employer of so many enthusiastic professionals. I naturally have a social life apart from work. I am a fervent endurance athlete and to date I have competed in five marathons and two alternative Elfstedentochten (English: Eleven cities tours). I also enjoy cooking, reading, sports and travelling. Furthermore, I coach entrepreneurs and students.’

We have been selected as one of the best employers in the Netherlands on numerous occasions and in 2008 we won the Young High Growth Award.
